I had a great weekend, honestly. I went to 2 Arizona criteriums, watched bicycle racing, and spent time with some dear friends of mine. Sure, I had to explain my injury about 40 times, but the fact that people ask means they care.

It is agonizing to race a bicycle. It is also agonizing to watch a bicycle race. Right now, I am trying to value of the benefits of the latter.
Peleton- The main group(pack) of riders in a ride or race Attack- An acceleration by a rider, who is attempting to break away Bridging the gap- Making an attack or effort in an attempt to catch up to the lead group or breakaway Domestique- A rider who rides in the support of his or her team leader. Blocking- An attempt to slow the main field so that a breakaway will succeed. Pulling- Going to the front of a group, controlling the pace and blocking the wind for the rest of the group. Ripping someone's legs off- Beating someone in a race, by a lot.
