Things are going just fine. Good food, a pool, a pool table, lots of TV, and riding at Hines park are keeping me busy.
I was at Hines doing some six minute intervals when disaster struck. Going under one of those bridges, I became the victim of a MASSIVE pothole that seemed to span the whole road. I trashed my carbon Ritchey front wheel. Fabulous, considered that I didn't have a spare wheel.
Thankfully, Joe L kindly gave me one of his front wheels for me to train on.
My first job is to find a way to avoid that monstrous pothole. It's a daunting task. I now know how Doug must feel!

Man, your dad is going to be mad... there goes your allowance for the next year to pay for that wheel.
If you are near Hines for a while, you riding Hines tonight????????? I'll be out on Hines after work if you would like to ride together.
Not tonight, but maybe the next two days.
You want to ride, if you mom/dad says ok, on Friday after I get off work?
Sounds like a deal. I think Alexey and Alex will be riding as well. 6-ish?
I am not sure about riding for tonight. The forecast calls for a lot of rain and thunderstorms today and tonight.
